PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to perform machining operations

· Read and interpret manufacturing drawings

· Report non-conforming items to Quality Assurance for disposition.

· Operate overhead crane

· Perform routine service on machine equipment, keep work area maintained and clean

Qualifications:

· Valid drivers license & or reliable transportation

· Journeymen certificate & or qualified experience working as a manual machinist

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team

· Detail oriented, there are tight tolerances on some parts

Salary: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour

· 8 hour shift, day or evening, overtime available if desired

The Candidate: We are looking for the right fit in a machinist for our CNC turning and milling operations. We have several positions available in our busy little shop. Responsibilities:

· Operate numerically controlled machines (CNC)

· Read and interpret engineer’s drawings

· Machine parts to specifications

· Modify programs as required

· Operate an overhead crane
